Villa Del Palmar is located on the edge of Cabo San Lucas on El Medano beach. It is an RCI Gold Crown resort and is rated as one of the top 25 resorts world wide. It is just a 20 minute walk (a mile down the beach) or 5 minute drive to the center of town. Taxis are charging $5 per cab load to town.
The resorthas 2 beautiful multi-tiered pools with a unique water slide, jacuzzi, and a gorgeous private beach. You enter the resort into a nine-story atrium lobby complete with dramatic waterfalls and giant sea-shell chandeliers. Cabo San Lucas is world famous for Golf and Sport Fishing. The Cabo record for Marlin is 1076 pounds. The Marlin fishing is incredible. Dorado (mahi mahi) and Tuna are abundant. The worlds richest fishing tournament (The Bisbee) is held in Cabo each October. There are at least half a dozen fabulous golf courses in the area. The Senior Slam is held in Cabo every March.
The resort consists of a 10,000 square foot European Health Spa, nice store, laundry facilities, two restaurants and two swimming pools that are connected by a "willy" whale water slide . The landscaping is fabulous. Numerous resort sponsored activities are available on a daily basis for young and not so young. Enjoy discounts on fishing, jet skis, para sailing and other activities. Attend a bartending class and drink the lesson. Free snorkeling and scuba lessons and water aerobics are also available. Sit by the beach in one of the outdoor restaurants and watch the water sports or boats in the Cabo San Lucas harbor.
The 1 bedroom/2bath suite sleeps 4 privately. Maid service is provided daily. The kitchen/dining room comes with stove, refrigerator with honor bar, coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster and all cooking and eating utensils. The living area has a couch, phone, satellite TV, table and chairs. The bathroom has a huge tile soaking tub and shower. The balcony has a spectacular view of either the ocean or the outer harbor and famous rock formations of Cabo San Lucas. There is no problem with drinking the water - the resort has a de-salinization plant and makes all it's own water. Safety deposit boxes are available in many of the rooms and also at the front desk.
